Dean brings 30 years of national and international security experience to Cohort Shield. As the founder of a government contracting company, he has worked with NATO, the U.S. Army, and international special operations organizations. A retired U.S. Army Colonel with 25 years in Special Operations, including assignments in the 2nd Ranger Battalion and 5th Special Forces Group, Dean also served as a U.S. Army War College Fellow and holds advanced degrees in Management and Political Science. Since retiring in 2016, Dean has leveraged his leadership and expertise to guide clients through CMMC compliance, driving Cohort Shield’s mission to deliver exceptional compliance solutions.
